Order an ao dai.

Today's topic is the national costume of Vietnam, ao dai(Áo dài).

Well, it means ao=shirt, dai=long in Vietnamese. Thus Ao dai is the word as long clothing. However, it can not be understood in Ho Chi Minh City, it is called as Ao yai, more softly pronounced.

Ao dai should be made quite tightly along the line of the body so it is tailor-made. Even if I walk down the street, I have never seen the people with too skinny / oversized ao dai. When you order it, it is necessary to measure the sizes of 18 points around body. It is nonsense to complain about  measuring  three sizes, you cannot make ao dai anymore. You must ask someone to measure your sizes.
Surprisingly, not directly related to the tailoring of clothes, the size of the head also need to make it. I wonder this is to account for the balance of the whole.

Tailor-made design means better economically cycle from the point of creating a work of sewing industry, material industry every time you order. The unique Vietnamese character like not  having application ability derive from ao dai. Every time the work finish and no need to apply task for another use.

It is great in terms that respect, traditional Japanese costume, kimono is that regardless of the width height it can wrap and appear with beautiful stature. It would not be an exaggeration to say that the multifunction is reflected in the application of the Japanese work styles. However, I think that they made Japanese people indecisive and difficult to choose most important function among many candidates.

I wanna refer to the phenomenon that Japanese mobile phone was required with too every functions.

Returning to the story of the ao dai at the end, price is 3000 yen and delivery is five days. Just FYI.

work permit in Vietnam

This week, I have a birthday for the first time in Vietnam. (Don't you see?)

Well, work permit and temporary residence card required to work long term in Vietnam. To get the work permit, I had some trouble, wow!

According to following documents, you must obtain a work permit.

- To fill in Vietnamese (20 000VND) application form.
- Graduate certificate (notarized translation ← Authentication of Vietnam Ministry of Foreign Affairs ← Japan consulate authentication)
- Health certificate (If it is held in Japan, notarized translation is needed)
- Crime certificate(notarized translation ← Authentication of Vietnam Ministry of Foreign Affairs ← Japan consulate authentication)
- Appointment letter(notarized translations)
- 3 photos prove (3 × 4cm)
- Commission fee 400 000VND

After applying to HEZA, you can get it in a week.
I asked my staff to take it just one week later,

"It can not be passed to you ^ ^, and the Japanese person come here directly, please explain..."

The labor department manager tweeted.
Because it is not urgent and I decided to wait for a while unless he may require some money under the table. I  faced the first round of direct negotiations while getting a little mad.

As the other party, he intended to get some feedback while he can give some advice for us. BUT, my attitude is that "I have done everything in Japan, and manage my staffs and moreover I also know the labor law of Vietnam" and he finally guided me to the room of receipt without any problems.

It's all for tha best but I have another traps such as VISA and temporary residence card.
Basically I wanna be familiar with Vietnamese people but I really don't like to consider to avoid this kind of matter in the future.

Such kind of sense is so rare for me as business person.

Farewell party.

Yesterday, I had a farewell party for me.
Because I temporary transfer another department from April 1st.

It was held by my colleagues at work.
It is almost 3years to have entered this firm and there were lots of complaints were pointed out.

I am not sure this transfer is a fast track or not but I am very happy to be going to involve in foreign affairs in near future. To fulfill my next mission, I should brush up my skills more and more.

Anyway, daily commute must become much longer than now,
I am blue to wake up earlier...
